Coll friends:  let's go to DD hills..
Me: Sorry not possible.

Biking Group: let's go to DD hills...
Me: No offs.

So after many rejection and hurdles.. Final planned to visit DD hills on new year's eve.  Might be because, it was one of my new years resolution to become a complete biker this year.

Destination: DD Hills(Devarayanadurga Hills)

Distance   :  70Km.

Route      : Mekri circle->Nelamangala -> Dabaspete -> DD hills.

At last the day had come, on 02/01/16, I planned to head out to DD hills. 

Kept alarm for 0500hrs so that I can leave by 0530 but...... Due to the lazy, chilling weather of Bangalore got up at 0545...
Literally jumped out of bed,got fresh and left home at 0630hrs...

As it was already pass 6,thought it would be easy to find petrol bunk.
So zoomed out and reached shell petrol bunk at Yeshwantapur 
After fueling up the bike,continued the journey.
After reaching Nelmangla turned on GPS on mobile, as I did not want get lost by using a wrong fly over.

Due to ultra cold weather, it was getting difficult to cruise above 90kmph..

At 0754 hrs,took a tea break 12km before DD hills..

Had a quick break fast..and continued the journey..

Reached the entrance and what a lovely road...
Loved the path,reduced my speed and was enjoying the beauty..

As I was enjoying the ghat curves and the road, there was a lake very near to hill... 
Stopped my bike for stretching and photo shoot.

There came a spot,were there were two ways to go, not knowing where to go...I checked my phone GPS.. To my surprise there was no network and GPS could not be used, now I realized how you can get stuck in more dangerous situations if you start depending on gadgets..

There came a car to my rescue, I tried asking him the route but he zoom passed me. After going a bit ahead,he brought his car back to me and asked why did I stop him. I inquired about the route and moved ahead. .

This pictures for the information, so that nobody  gets confused like me,because If you decide to visit this place early morning,It would be more confusing.

 At-last, reached the destination. It was beautiful place to be,the from the top and the greenery was just amazing. I cursed myself to be lazy, as it would look great during the early morning hours. There was a scorching sun,yet spent some time in peace.

As it was a solo trip after a very long gap,had taken my dairy along with me to pen down some thoughts...

As I was heading back down the hill, saw a temple and that was another place where I could stop for taking pictures,as my phone battery was dead by using GPS and calls,wasn't able to take much photographs.

After all this headed back, on the way met some scooty girls a group of girls on 4 Activa's... They were from nearby locality...
